Treats Card was founded by Amy and Lee Nightingale, parents of three and long-time members of the UAE community.

The idea began while Amy and Lee were both working in the aviation industry. Lee regularly saw pet owners searching online for recommendations, trusted businesses and ways to manage the rising cost of caring for their pets. At the same time, many excellent local pet businesses were looking for meaningful ways to reach new customers.

It seemed there should be a simple way to bring the two together.

During the challenging and uncertain period of 2020, Amy and Lee found an opportunity to turn that long-held idea into something real.

Treats Card was created to give pet owners access to valuable savings while helping trusted local businesses connect with a wider community.

What began with a small group of participating businesses has since grown into a network of hundreds of pet-related and pet-friendly businesses across the UAE. Members can enjoy discounts of up to 50% on veterinary care, pet food, grooming, boarding, daycare, pet-friendly dining, hotels and much more.

Today, Treats Card is a convenient web-based membership with a digital card that can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, making it easy for members to access their benefits wherever they go.

Giving back has also remained an important part of the Treats Card story. Through our Meals by Members initiative, every active membership helps provide meals for rescue animals in partnership with Ras Al Khaimah Animal Welfare Centre.

Much has changed for Amy and Lee since Treats Card began. They are now parents to three children, and their much-loved dogs have passed away after reaching old age. Although their family life has evolved over the years, their love of animals and commitment to supporting pet owners across the UAE remain at the heart of Treats Card.

Treats Card continues to grow with the same purpose it started with: to help pet owners enjoy exceptional value, support local businesses and make a positive difference for animals in need.
